How To Make The Best Coleslaw out of Kalettes
Kalettes are a hybrid plant brand name for kale sprouts, basically they are a cross between Kale and Brussel Sprouts. They are highly nutritious and can be eaten raw or cooked.
KALETTE COLESLAW
Ingredients
- 1 x lrg Carrot
- 1 x sml Onion
- 1 x lrg bowl of Kalettes
- 4 x tbsp Mayonnaise of choice
- Good pinch of Black Pepper & Salt
- Juice of 1/2 Lemon
METHOD
Whiz your kalettes in a mini chopper or chop finely if you haven’t got one. Do the same with the onion and carrot and add to the bowl and mix thoroughly. Finally add mayonnaise, lemon juice and seasoning.
This coleslaw goes perfect with a quiche or on top of your favourite crackers.
